Patent Attorney

We are seeking an experienced Patent Attorney to lead our patent drafting and prosecution team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, preferably in Computer Science or IT, and proven expertise in drafting patent applications and preparing responses to office actions across major jurisdictions, including the US, Europe, and India.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft high-quality patent applications in the US, EP, and India.
• Prepare and review responses to office actions from the USPTO, EPO, and Indian Patent Office.
• Ensure all work meets jurisdiction-specific legal and technical requirements.
• Manage and guide a team of patent professionals on drafting and prosecution assignments.
• Capture technical inventions with inventors, in-house counsel, and R&D teams.
• Provide strategic advice on patentability, prosecution, and portfolio development.
• Maintain strong client communication and ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering (preferred).
• Law degree (desirable).
• Patent agent qualification (must).
• 5–8 years of experience in patent drafting and prosecution with a law firm or IP services company.
• Hands-on experience in drafting patent applications and preparing responses to office actions for the US, EP, and India.
• Prior experience in managing patent professionals or leading projects.
