Metadata Governance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Metadata Governance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience working with Collibra Data Intelligence Platform and a strong understanding of metadata management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement metadata governance policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with data stewards, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure data quality and integrity
  • Design and configure workflow automation using Collibra APIs and Connectors
  • Provide training and support for users on metadata management best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 3-7 years of experience working with Collibra Data Intelligence Platform
  • Strong understanding of metadata management and data governance principles
  • Experience working with ETL tools, BI platforms, and databases
  • Proficiency in SQL and scripting for metadata extraction and transformation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data lineage concepts, including horizontal lineage across systems
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA DMBOK)
  • Prior experience in a regulated industry (e.g., finance, healthcare)
