Role Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled finance professional to join our team as a Real Estate Accountant.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures, with a focus on real estate financial management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with taxation laws.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and reconciliation.
- Preparing and maintaining accurate financial statements and records.
- Handling taxation-related tasks, including GST and TDS compliance.
- Assisting in budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting for projects.
- Coordinating with auditors, consultants, and internal teams.
- Supporting management with MIS reports and other financial data as required.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in accounting (real estate industry experience preferred).
- Proficiency in Tally ERP for accounting, invoicing, and compliance.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word); ability to work with spreadsheets and formulas.
- Commerce graduate (B.Com, BBA – Finance/Accounts) from a recognized university.
- Additional certifications in accounting/finance will be an advantage.
- Solid understanding of GST and TDS compliance.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
