Accountant Position

You will be responsible for managing daily accounting duties, ensuring statutory requirements are met, and providing management with accurate financial reports.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily accounting tasks like Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and ledger entries
  • Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and MIS reports
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing and reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, ITR, and other statutory requirements
  • Manage inventory accounting and cost analysis
  • Support audits with proper documentation
  • Generate reports as needed by management
  • Process entries like contra, journal, receipt, and payment
  • Collaborate with teams to optimize costs and improve processes
  • Fulfill accounting standards and company policies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 2-3 years of accounting experience, must have worked under a CA or in a CA firm
  • Proficient in Tally (knowledge of Zoho or other ERP tools is a plus)
  • Good understanding of AP/AR, GST, MIS reporting, and compliances
  • Experience with inventory accounting is preferred (F&V domain is a plus)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting tools
