Chief Financial Officer

Our organization is seeking a strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to drive financial excellence and contribute to the growth of our business. This role is responsible for providing exceptional leadership, operational expertise, and strategic guidance to support the company's objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record in finance leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex financial situations. They will be a trusted advisor to the executive team, driving informed decision-making through accurate financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting.

We are looking for a hands-on CFO with experience in implementing budget control mechanisms, consolidating financial data, and developing forecasting and budgeting processes. The successful candidate will also have experience in reviewing and validating financial reporting, as well as providing diligence and oversight during investments, M&A, fundraising, and exits.

In addition to their technical skills, the ideal candidate should possess excellent negotiation and communication skills, able to manage clients, vendors, employees, and investors. A strong analytical and commercial acumen, with a focus on cost optimization and value creation, is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and enforce budget control mechanisms across the firm and portfolio companies.
  • Consolidate financial data across businesses, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency.
  • Develop and implement forecasting and budgeting processes to guide strategic decisions.
  • Review and validate financial reporting of the company and portfolio companies.
  • Provide diligence and oversight during investments, M&A, fundraising, and exits.
  • Support leadership with actionable insights on capital allocation, ROI, and performance optimization.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, ideally in investment firms, VC/PE-backed companies, or high-growth businesses.
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with a focus on cost optimization and value creation.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, able to manage clients, vendors, employees, and investors.
  • Deep understanding of corporate finance, accounting, tax, and legal frameworks.
  • Proven ability in performance management at both organizational and employee levels.
