Financial Leadership Opportunity

Acme Services is seeking a seasoned executive to assume the role of Group Chief Financial Officer. This strategic position entails leading financial strategy and operations, collaborating with the CEO and Board on planning, capital allocation, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive financial plan aligned with business objectives
  • Provide guidance on financial matters to senior leadership and the Board
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, industry trends, and market conditions

Accounting & Financial Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations to ensure accuracy and timely reporting
  • Establish and maintain robust financial controls and systems
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and accounting standards

Fundraising & Investor Relations:

  • Lead fundraising efforts for equity and debt investments as per group targets
  • Manage investor relationships and lead team efforts to secure new investors
  • Represent the company in media and investor communications

Banking & Treasury Management:

  • Manage banking relationships and negotiate credit facilities and loans
  • Optimize working capital and cash flow management
  • Implement effective treasury operations, hedging strategies, and liquidity planning

Audit & Compliance:

  • Oversee statutory, internal, and tax audits to ensure compliance
  • Collaborate with auditors for process improvements
  • Establish and monitor internal control frameworks to safeguard assets and mitigate risks

Taxation & Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure accurate and timely filing of direct and indirect taxes
  • Optimize tax strategies to minimize liabilities while maintaining compliance
  • Stay up-to-date on changing tax laws and regulations

Investments & Capital Management:

  • Evaluate investment opportunities based on ROI and strategic alignment
  • Manage portfolio investments, acquisitions, and divestitures
  • Develop long-term funding and capital strategies

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Build and mentor high-performing finance teams
  • Promote a culture of financial discipline and operational excellence
  • Drive continuous improvement through training and process optimization
