We're seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our Demand Planning strategy. As Demand Planning Strategist, you'll be responsible for driving accurate sales forecasts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and analyzing forecast accuracy to identify areas for improvement.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing end-to-end demand planning processes, utilizing statistical models and forecasting tools to support short-term and long-term planning. You'll work closely with supply planning to optimize stock availability, monitor inventory levels, and provide insights to senior management on demand trends and performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop Accurate Sales Forecasts: Lead the development of accurate sales forecasts across product lines and regions using historical data, market trends, and promotional activity.
  2. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and validate input for demand forecasts.
  3. Analyze Forecast Accuracy: Analyze forecast accuracy and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities to improve forecast reliability.
  4. Optimize Stock Availability: Collaborate with supply planning to optimize stock availability and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
  5. Provide Insights: Provide insights to senior management on demand trends, changes, and performance metrics.
