Job Role:
The Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) Associate is responsible for building and maintaining high-quality courses on the Canvas LMS platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, maintain, and organize course content in Canvas LMS to ensure alignment with instructional design specifications.
- Develop and format content pages, HTML pages, quizzes, assignments, and documents according to design document guidelines and accessibility standards.
- Manage and edit course assets to meet quality standards.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure learning materials meet accessibility and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to course setup and delivery, collaborating with relevant teams as needed.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure project requirements are met and specifications are aligned.
- Demonstrate expertise in online learning platforms and emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field.
- 1-4 years of experience working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience working on the Canvas LMS and/or Content Management System (CMS) is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of accessibility standards for course design and authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and H5P.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Able to multitask and manage time effectively.
