Job Title: Sales Manager - South India
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in South India. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing our strategic sales plan, targets, and tools to monitor sales achievements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth through multiple distributors, sub-dealers, and retail channels in assigned South India states.
- Identify and build strategic partnerships with new distributors, sub-dealers, and retail channels to drive incremental growth with a strong focus on margins.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with General Trade Distributors to ensure a strong retail presence of Public Address & Conference system products.
- Maximize overall Bosch BT Communication revenue, growth, and visibility.
- Participate in developing and updating Public Address & Conference system product choices for respective channels.
- Stay up-to-date with market and competition landscape.
- Take ownership of DSO, service, and replacements across channels and work with the support team to minimize these.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure all distributors and retail channels receive required marketing support to sell Public Address & Conference system.
- Manage distributor and channel relationships, keeping them updated on the product portfolio through regular product orientations, webinars, and training programs.
- Ensure consistent growth of Local for Local products (L4L) across assigned states.
- Maintain monthly reports of distributors' purchase and sales for internal sales analysis.
- Effectively tap into untapped sectors and develop Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana states.
- Candidates should have experience in product planning and analytics.
- Distribution and retail experience - direct or agency.
- Coordination with the marketing team for product promotion via online, offline, mobile, and social media networks.
Requirements:
- Maintain an opportunity funnel on CRM and update it regularly.
- Travel extensively in the assigned territory for business opportunities and increasing footprint.
- Proven team player with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Product Knowledge:
- Prior experience in promoting and selling Public Address Conference system products to distributors and their channel partners.
- Clear fundamental knowledge of sound and understanding of Public Address & Conference/AV channel market.
- Techno-commercial knowledge, containing awareness about product trends in the industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a related industry/position or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent sales management skills.
- Detail-oriented and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Good work ethics - must be punctual and regular at work.
- Excellent organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills.
