Identity and Access Management (IAM) Program Associate

We are seeking an experienced IAM professional to support and enhance our Identity and Access Management program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our Okta Identity Cloud platform.

This role requires a strong understanding of identity governance and security best practices. Key responsibilities include:

  • Administering and supporting the Okta platform, including single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), Universal Directory, Lifecycle Management, and API integrations.
  • Implementing and managing identity lifecycle processes: provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews.
  • Integrating new applications into Okta using SAML, OIDC, and SCIM.
  • Monitoring and managing Okta workflows, policies, and logs to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting authentication, authorization, and user provisioning issues across various integrated systems.
  • Collaborating with Security, HR, and IT teams to ensure seamless onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Maintaining documentation for Okta configurations, integrations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Staying up to date with IAM industry trends and Okta platform updates and recommending improvements.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field—or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience administering Okta Identity Cloud.
  • Proficiency with SAML, OIDC, SCIM, LDAP, and Active Directory.
  • Experience with Okta Workflows, API integrations, and automation.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
