Conversational AI Experience Designer

About the Role:

We seek an experienced Amazon Lex SME to design, configure and deploy conversational AI experiences using Amazon Lex V2. This role is pivotal in a platform migration initiative requiring deep expertise in building scalable, production-grade Lex bots.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Defining Intents, Utterances, and Slots: Craft intents, utterances and slots that accurately capture user needs and preferences.
  • Migrating Existing Bots: Migrate existing bots or workflows from other platforms into Lex V2, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
  • Configuring Knowledge Bases: Configure Amazon Lex Knowledge Bases and manage dynamic document sources to enhance user experience.
  • Optimizing Language Model Performance: Leverage analytics and user feedback to optimize language model performance and improve overall conversational AI experience.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on Experience: Extensive hands-on experience with Amazon Lex V2, including custom intent and slot configuration.
  • Context Management: Proven ability to manage multi-turn conversations and context control.
  • Fallback Strategies: Strong understanding of fallback and clarification handling.
  • AWS Integration: Experience integrating Lex with AWS services, including Lambda, Connect and Cognito.
  • REST APIs: Knowledge of REST APIs, API Gateway and JSON payload handling.
