Job Title: Azure Data Support Lead

Job Description:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of engineers to ensure efficient handling of support activities. You will provide technical guidance to resolve complex issues and optimize workflows.

Additionally, you will manage the support operations for applications and pipelines built on Azure Databricks, PySpark, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Function Apps. You will oversee the monitoring and maintenance of Azure SQL databases and AKS deployments.

You will also serve as the escalation point for critical incidents and production issues, ensuring root cause analysis is conducted for recurring incidents and preventive measures are implemented.

Further, you will identify and implement improvements in support processes to enhance efficiency and reliability. You will leverage automation tools to reduce manual intervention and streamline operations.

Finally, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely issue resolution, providing regular updates and reports to leadership and stakeholders on support performance metrics.Requirements:

  • B.E/B. Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or related technical degree OR Equivalent

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and incident management frameworks
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions
  • Experience with Azure Databricks, PySpark, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Function Apps
  • Experience with Azure SQL databases and AKS deployments
  • Knowledge of Python and scripting languages
