Electrical Engineer

Técnicas Reunidas, a global leader in engineering and construction, is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to join its team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop main electrical equipment and materials.
  • Prepare detailed technical specifications and data sheets.
  • Perform complex electrical equipment and material sizing calculations.
  • Classify hazardous areas with designer support (2D drawings), create panel schedules, interconnection and wiring diagrams, control schematics.
  • Develop MTO/BOM, lighting calculations, cable tray and trench sizing calculations.
  • Procure electrical equipment's (transformers, switchgears, generators, bus ducts, UPS, capacitors, cathodic protection) and bulk materials (cables, trays, lighting and grounding materials).
  • Evaluate technical bids for electrical equipment's and bulk materials, prepare TB tabulation.
  • Collaborate with other technical disciplines involved.
  • Manage change and demonstrate flexibility as required.
  • Awareness and commitment to health, safety, and environmental issues.
  • Report engineering status and progress.

Technical Skills:

  • Effective communication skills.
  • Understanding of other disciplines.
  • Ability to complete tasks according to project requirements.
  • Excellent English language skills - listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Knowledge of electrical calculation software (ETAP, SKM, Digisilent, Dialux).
