Electrical Design Engineer Substation Project Lead

  • Primary and Secondary Electrical Systems Development: Create primary and secondary electrical systems for substations, including transformers, switchgear, breakers, and other crucial equipment.
  • System Integration: Coordinate the integration of electrical and control systems across substation infrastructure to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
  • Documentation and Review: Prepare, review, and revise technical drawings such as single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and protection schemes.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEEE, IEC, ANSI) in electrical designs.
  • Design Reviews and Risk Assessment: Conduct detailed design reviews, risk assessments, and safety checks to ensure reliability and robustness of designs.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting phases of substation projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 6-16 years of experience designing primary/secondary electrical systems for substation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of substation design, power systems, and protection schemes for HV/MV substation projects.
