Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Storage Engineer to lead our team in developing innovative solutions for cloud storage optimization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing storage systems, filesystems, and cloud infrastructure, with expertise in Linux/Windows storage stacks and benchmarking tools.

This is a challenging role that requires the ability to design tests that expose weaknesses in storage tiering, kernel interactions, and edge cases. The successful candidate will be responsible for finding flaws early through shift-left testing, automating chaos through test frameworks, and pushing systems to fail through artificial induction of I/O storms, memory leaks, and resource starvation.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in testing storage systems, filesystems, or cloud infrastructure
  • Hands-on experience with Linux/Windows storage stacks and benchmarking tools (fio, vdbench)
  • Strong scripting skills (Java, Python, Bash, Go) and test automation experience
  • Familiarity with kernel debugging (strace, eBPF, WinDbg)
  • Experience with cloud storage platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
