Job Title: Cloud Architect

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement cloud strategies, encompassing integration design, security design for web services and enterprise component development.
  • Function as an AWS cloud administrator on networking and security topics, storage management using AWS Storage, and extensive work on AWS-EKS.
  • Create and manage Docker images, perform cloud cost analysis, estimations, and apply best practices.
  • Manage Kubernetes system services and worker nodes, work with database administration and DBMS, and create documentation and design documents.
  • Provide estimates for requirements and collaborate with the senior architecture group, internal technology teams, and contribute to internal initiatives.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of relevant experience with hands-on coding and ability to program independently.
  • AWS Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional).
  • Strong Linux/UNIX experience, hands-on experience in Terraform, and experience in AWS Cloud platforms across a wide range of services.
  • Experience in implementing AWS Cloud Security, using Postgres databases, knowledge of Load Balancing, Auto-Scaling, and Route 53 for traffic management.
  • Experience with Network Access Control List, VPC peering, AWS CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, and ability to design Highly Available and/or Fault-Tolerant Architectures.
  • Experience with open-source technologies and tools, designing, developing, and deploying high-scale solutions in Kubernetes, understanding optimized coding for memory consumption, performance, scalability, security, caching, etc.
  • Experience with Docker, HELM, and Kubernetes (mandatory), scripting languages (YAML), stateless/stateful applications deployed on Kubernetes in production environments, and working experience with AWS and Kubernetes API.

  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodology (backlogs and sprints), proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment, creative and analytical problem-solving ability, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
