Cloud Data Engineer Opportunity

Coforge is seeking a skilled Cloud Data Engineer to design and develop scalable ETL pipelines using cloud-based services.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using cloud-based services like Azure Data Factory and AWS Datalake.
  2. Process, transform, and load large datasets into data stores.
  3. Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver efficient data solutions.
  4. Work closely with data scientists to build effective data workflows.
  5. Create and manage data storage solutions including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Blob Storage.
  6. Implement data validation and cleansing procedures to ensure data quality and integrity.
  7. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues to ensure data availability and consistency.
  8. Optimize pipelines for scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Strong hands-on experience in Informatica and cloud-based analytics.
  • Expert-level knowledge of: Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake & Azure App Service.
  • Experience with API ingestion and streaming ingestion methods.
  • Familiarity with DevOps (CI/CD) and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Strong understanding of data warehouse modeling (Kimball, Inmon).

Desirable skills include:

  • Knowledge of: Azure Databricks, Azure IoT, Azure HDInsight + Spark, Azure Stream Analytics, Power BI. Working knowledge of Python & Experience in developing security models.
