Job Title: Cloud Data Architect

We are seeking an experienced cloud data architect to design, develop and optimize complex data pipelines and integration solutions in the cloud. As a senior member of our team, you will be responsible for designing scalable data architectures, developing high-performance ETL pipelines, and collaborating with stakeholders on solution designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop distributed data systems using Azure services such as Cosmos DB, Storage Queues, and Event Hubs.
  • Buid scalable data lakes using Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 and Spark.
  • Troubleshoot complex data jobs and implement root cause solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on solution designs.
  • Maintain data quality and best practices.
  • Work independently and meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, Scala, and Terraform.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud services, including Cosmos DB, Storage Queues, and Event Hubs.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and distributed computing.
  • Expertise in designing ETL pipelines and troubleshooting complex data issues.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with remote teams.
