Cloud Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Engineer to spearhead the design, development and maintenance of scalable data pipelines for both batch and real-time processing using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop large-scale data pipelines leveraging GCP services such as Big Query, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub and Cloud Composer.
  • Construct complex datasets to meet diverse business needs through creative application of data architecture.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications with attention to detail.
  • Leverage various GCP services to build integrated systems with a focus on scalability and reliability.
  • Orchestrate workflows using Cloud Composer with expertise in automation.
  • Implement DevOps and CI/CD practices using GitHub and Terraform to ensure smooth delivery.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on GCP and cloud-based architectures.
  • Deep expertise in GCP services including Big Query, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub and Cloud Composer.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL with knowledge of database management.
  • Experience with structured ERP solutions like SAP, Oracle EBS and Salesforce with a focus on integration.
  • A strong understanding of different file formats (CSV, JSON, XML, Parquet, ORC, Avro) with emphasis on data storage.
  • Knowledge of Data Lake concepts and big data processing with ability to architect.
  • Experience with API development and consumption (REST, SOAP) with focus on integration.
