Job Description

As a Jr. UK Visa Counselor, you will be the primary point of contact for students seeking to pursue higher education in the United Kingdom.

 

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.

 

You will work closely with students to guide them through the application process, from initial inquiry to visa approval.

 

This is a dynamic role that requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first-level counseling for UK study inquiries, handling eligibility, intakes, courses, universities, tuition fees, scholarships, and living costs.
  • Explain visa requirements, application timelines, and documentation checklists to students.
  • Guide students on education loans, fee payments, and scholarship options.
  • Convert student inquiries into registered applications.

 

Application Process
  • Collect and verify documents from students, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Submit files for document assessment via B2B partners, following up on delays.
  • Support students with tuition fee payments, loan documentation, and forex guidance.
  • Assist in preparing CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) documents.

 

Visa Stage
  • Prepare students for CAS interviews, conducting mock Q&A sessions.
  • Fill and verify UK visa forms, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist students in arranging financials, education loans, and supporting documents.
  • Submit final visa applications through the B2B partner system.

 

Post-Visa Support
  • Offer pre-departure assistance, including accommodation and ticketing guidance.
  • Maintain regular communication with students until departure.

 

Reporting
  • Maintain CRM entries for each inquiry and application stage.
  • Prepare weekly pipeline reports, tracking student progress from inquiry to visa approval.

 

Required Skills & Competencies
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi/Gujarati.
  • In-depth knowledge of the UK study system, including intakes, tuition fees, and scholarships.
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to explain financial requirements clearly and assist with loan documentation.
  • Polite, patient, and student-focused attitude.

 

Education & Experience
  • Graduate degree in any field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in counseling, customer service, or administration preferred.
  • Freshers with strong English and willingness to learn the UK visa process may also apply.
