Scrum Master - Strategic Leadership

As a seasoned professional in the field of agile project management, you will play a vital role in facilitating cross-functional teams and empowering them to deliver high-quality results. Your expertise in Scrum framework and servant leadership principles will be instrumental in driving team success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor and coach team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaborative environment.
  • Collaborate with product owners and squads to ensure a healthy prioritized product backlog is maintained for each squad.
  • Facilitate squad ceremonies such as stand-ups, backlog refinement, QBR planning, retrospectives, reviews, demos, ensuring each ceremony is effective and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Work closely with the tribe scrum master to identify inefficiencies in operation, monitor metrics including velocity, objectives and key results (OKRs), and remove impediments to the tribe's progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in a financial industry or large corporate environment.
  • Proven track record of success in supporting agile teams/squads.
  • Strong understanding of the scrum master role and its application in driving team performance.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills, able to offer guidance and leadership at individual and squad levels.
  • Passionate about coaching and supporting people to adapt to new ways of working.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and dedication to finding innovative solutions.
  • Emotionally intelligent, calm, open-minded, and collaborative with strong people management skills.
