Desktop Support Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Desktop Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Provide timely and effective support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person
  • Troubleshoot desktop-related issues using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues
  • Document and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and resolutions

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Information Technology or related field (preference given to those with certifications)
  • 1.5+ years of experience in desktop support or a related role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working experience on BMC Remedy tool and/or SolarWinds monitoring tool is an added advantage
  • Ability to work in shifts, including 24/7 and US shifts, if required

Desirable Skills:

  • Window OS & desktop troubleshooting knowledge
  • Experience with remote support tools
