Citrix Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Citrix Solutions Architect to join our team. As a Citrix Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Citrix technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design: Design end-to-end virtual desktop solutions by analyzing business requirements, assessing existing infrastructure, and designing scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures.
  • Citrix Integration: Design and integrate Citrix products, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC, and Citrix Cloud with Azure virtual desktop services, to provide a comprehensive and cohesive virtual desktop solution.
  • Azure Virtual Desktop Configuration: Configure and manage Azure virtual machines, session hosts, virtual networks, and storage to create and maintain Azure virtual desktop environments.
  • Identity and Access Management: Design and implement identity and access management strategies, including integration with Azure Active Directory, multifactor authentication, and role-based access controls, for virtual desktop environments.
  • Network Infrastructure: Design and configure network connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and Azure, including network security measures such as firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers, to ensure secure and efficient data transfer.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize virtual desktop environments for performance, scalability, and user experience by monitoring and tuning resource allocation, load balancing, and network bandwidth.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement security measures, including data encryption, access controls, and compliance requirements, to protect virtual desktop environments and ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies.
  • High Availability and Disaster Recovery: Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions to minimize downtime and data loss.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Several years of experience as a Citrix Architect or similar role, designing and implementing virtual desktop solutions using Citrix technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure virtual desktop services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, and virtual networks.
  • Proficiency in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC, and Citrix Cloud.
  • Experience in network design, including connectivity options, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
  • Familiarity with identity and access management concepts, including Azure Active Directory, multifactor authentication, and role-based access controls.
  • Understanding of performance optimization techniques, monitoring tools, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Knowledge of security best practices, data encryption, access controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in designing high availability and disaster recovery solutions for virtual desktop environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Citrix and Azure technologies are a plus.
