Key Role: Business Development Associate

Job Description:

The primary objective of this role is to identify, research, and establish connections with potential clients in the logistics and supply chain industry. This position plays a critical role in supporting business growth by building a robust pipeline of qualified prospects.

Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize Sales Navigator and other tools to conduct thorough research on potential clients, connect with them, and engage in meaningful conversations.
  2. Develop and maintain an accurate database of qualified leads, including contact and company information.
  3. Send personalized connection requests and introductory messages to prospects, fostering strong relationships.
  4. Monitor and manage conversations with prospects, ensuring timely follow-ups and maximizing opportunities.
  5. Collaborate closely with the business development team to align prospecting strategies with organizational goals.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities within the U.S. logistics and freight forwarding space.
  7. Prepare and share regular reports on prospecting activities, lead generation metrics, and conversion rates.
  8. Maintain professionalism in all communications, representing the organization's values and brand identity.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience in lead generation, prospecting, or sales support; fresh graduates with strong knowledge are encouraged to apply.
  • Familiarity with Sales Navigator and CRM tools is beneficial.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
  • Ability to work independently during U.S. night hours.
  • Attention to detail, with strong organizational and research skills.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn about the logistics industry.
