Job Title: Packaging Engineering Specialist

  • The ideal candidate will train participants on ISO 11607 standards, regulatory expectations, and best practices in packaging compliance.
  • This role involves providing hands-on guidance on packaging validation, stability testing, lifecycle documentation, CAD-based packaging design, and optimization of packaging configurations.
  • Educating on transportation and distribution testing (ISTA, ASTM standards) is crucial to ensure product integrity.
  • Responsibilities include training on labeling compliance, serialization, and traceability requirements across global markets.
  • A key aspect of this role is guiding the integration of packaging with quality systems and regulatory compliance (FDA, EMA, MDR).
  • The specialist will develop case studies and practical workshops to simulate real-world packaging engineering challenges.

  • A strong background in packaging design and material science is essential for this position.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 11607 and global regulatory compliance standards is required.
  • Hands-on experience in packaging validation, stability testing, and transport/distribution testing is necessary.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools for packaging design and development is expected.
  • Understanding of serialization, labeling regulations, and traceability systems is also important.
  • Familiarity with cGMP, FDA, EMA, MDR, and ICH guidelines is a must.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and training delivery skills are required for success in this role.
