Job Title: Data Engineer

Experience: 6+ years of industry experience.

We are seeking a Data Engineering Specialist to design, develop, and maintain the infrastructure for data collection, storage, processing, and analysis. This includes building robust data pipelines that can ingest data from various sources into our data warehouse.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud services, including AWS Lambda, DMS, and Glue. They will work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions. The selected individual will be responsible for implementing and maintaining high-quality data quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of all delivered datasets and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Develop ETL/ELT Pipelines: Design, develop, and maintain efficient ETL/ELT pipelines to extract, transform, and load data into our data warehouse.
  2. Implement Data Quality Checks: Implement and maintain robust data quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of all delivered datasets and reports.
  3. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  4. Develop Snowflake Stored Procedures: Develop and optimize Snowflake stored procedures to improve data processing efficiency.
  5. Manage Scheduled Data Workflows: Manage and monitor scheduled data workflows using Apache Airflow.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of industry experience in data engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services, including Lambda, DMS, and Glue.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts.
  • Proficiency in SQL scripting and Python for data manipulation and automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with data quality best practices.
