Key Opportunities in Façade Access Engineering

 

  • We are currently seeking a highly skilled Façade Access Engineer to join our expanding team of dedicated specialists.

The chosen candidate will have the opportunity of gaining experience providing façade access advice and design expertise on challenging single or multi-disciplinary projects.

Responsibilities include:

Design Leadership

  • Liaising with the wider design team to advise on the integration of façade access systems into the project.
  • Leading the design to achieve the optimal combination of cost, aesthetic impact, and functionality, while following best health and safety practices.
  • Preparing façade access strategy reports at key stages of the design of the project.

Project Management

  • Managing multiple façade access consulting projects simultaneously and working directly with clients.
  • Reviewing contractor drawings and inspecting site throughout the construction process to ensure compliance to the spec, the design intent, and relevant legislation.

Research and Development

  • Conducting research on industry trends and currently available technologies used in façade access.

 

Mandatory Skills:

  • Experience of having worked with façade access systems, either within a consultancy or from a contractor's role.
  • Be able to demonstrate knowledge of façade access systems, their performance, and operation, as well as the current engineering standards, practices, regulations, and legislation.
  • Be an enthusiastic self-motivated individual with a relevant academic background.
  • Be competent in AutoCAD and/or Revit and 3D design software.
