Job Role

The role of HCM Consultant will involve working closely with business stakeholders to comprehend their HR and payroll processes, gathering requirements and translating them into functional specifications for Oracle Fusion HCM modules.

  • Configuring Oracle Fusion HCM modules based on business needs is a key responsibility (Core HR, Recruitment, Talent, and other modules).
  • An essential skill in this role is developing custom reports, dashboards, and workflows using OTBI, BI Publisher, and Fast Formulas.
  • This role involves performing technical integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, HCM Extracts, and HDL/FDI.
  • Managing data migrations and validations during implementations or upgrades is also crucial.
  • Unit, system, and user acceptance testing must be performed to validate configurations and developments.
  • Troubleshooting technical and functional issues, identifying root causes and delivering effective solutions is vital.
  • This role requires providing post-implementation support and resolving incidents as per SLA.
  • User training and documentation must be delivered for HCM functionalities and enhancements.
Key Skills:
  • Expertise in HCM tools such as BI Publisher, OTBI, HCM Extracts, and Fast Formulas is required.
  • Holding expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud tools such as HDL, HSDL, Application Security, Workflows, Alerts and Notifications, Page Customizations & Extensions is necessary.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Integration tools and APIs (REST/SOAP) and Apex and ATP is beneficial.
  • Developing Integrations between Fusion HCM and other platforms using OIC is an added advantage.
  • Developing SaaS extensions using VBCS is desirable.
  • A good knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and debugging tools is expected.
