Process Excellence Specialist - KYC Operations

As a Process Excellence Specialist in KYC Operations, you will play a pivotal role in our firm's first line of defense against financial crime. Your primary objective is to reduce the risk of working with new clients while ensuring efficient onboarding and maintenance of client relationships.

Your responsibilities will include defining strategic business design principles and process enhancements to achieve a scalable KYC process. This involves systematic capture and assessment of client data, providing opportunities for implementation of enhanced processes aligned with our overall KYC migration strategy.

You will work closely with Production and Transformation organisation to ensure that business design principles and process implementation changes meet stated objectives consistently with Target Operating Model design and Tech Architecture standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for strategic end-to-end design of global KYC processes driving data reuse and automation throughout the workflow
  • Leading / facilitating virtual process modelling workshops using BPMN2.0 and applying banking modelling standards
  • Defines, measures, and explores current state processes to agree areas for simplification, standardisation and/or automation using methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma
  • Determine migration tollgates including dependencies on data strategy; screening rationalisation & performance; Event Driven Review effectiveness; Implications of Account Activity Review; Requirements on Preventative Controls; Fulfilment effectiveness.

We are seeking an experienced professional who can conduct problem-solving sessions and drive design-focused outcomes. You should have excellent relationship management and influencing/negotiation skills, including those located remotely. Experience in using lean processing methodologies such as Six Sigma, robust attention to detail with competency in analytics/statistics, and expertise in business process modelling of large complex processes using enterprise modelling tools are highly desirable.

Requirements:
  • Prior experience and subject matter expert in Client Lifecycle/KYC
  • Strong organisational skills, proactive approach, ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines with no loss of accuracy, and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal/written and facilitation) with ability to converse clearly with stakeholders from all cultures and levels within organisations
  • Ability to work well in a global and virtual team, under pressure and multi-task
