Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental professional to support the safe execution of oil & gas Engineering, Procurement, and Construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health, safety, and environmental management, with a passion for promoting a safety-first culture across all project phases.

A key focus of this role is ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, as well as maintaining a high level of integrity and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Health, Safety, and Environmental plans, welfare plans, emergency response procedures/plans, and site-specific Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures/work instructions.
  • Lead a team of Health, Safety, and Environmental personnel, including Health, Safety, and Environmental officers and hygiene officers.
  • Conduct training/awareness sessions on relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures applicable to the Scope of Work.
  • Investigate incidents, identify immediate and root causes, and develop corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8-10 years experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental in construction, fabrication, installation, and/or commissioning projects/operations in the oil and gas petrochemical industries.
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant Engineering or Science or Health, Safety, and Environmental discipline.
  • NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certificate.
  • Lead Auditor ISO 45001/ISO 14001 or equivalent certifications.
  • Incident Investigation Techniques certificate.

Skill Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental issues, practices, and behavioral aspects in the Oil & Gas EPC business.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English with good communication skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills.
