Job Title: Breakwater Construction Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Breakwater Construction Specialist to lead our port development project in Trivandrum, Kerala.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and extensive experience in the design, construction, and management of port and marine infrastructure.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and construction of breakwater systems, including rubblemound, vertical, and hybrid breakwaters.
  • Project management, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality standards.
  • Coastal and marine engineering expertise, applying knowledge of hydrodynamics, coastal erosion, and sediment transport.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders, including government bodies, environmental agencies, contractors, and consultants.
  • Safety and environmental compliance, adhering to HSE guidelines and sustainable practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in breakwater construction, port development, or coastal engineering projects.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing breakwater systems, including knowledge of materials, hydrodynamics, and coastal processes.
  • Ability to manage large teams and collaborate across departments to meet project goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in challenging coastal environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.E. (Civil Engineering) or equivalent.
  • Coastal Engineering Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Experience working in the Kerala region or on Indian port development projects.
