Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Automation Test Engineer. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks for distributed systems.

The selected individual will be responsible for developing comprehensive test plans and test cases, covering cluster lifecycle management, security, networking, and platform integrations.

  • Developing automation frameworks for REST APIs, UI testing, system-level, and end-to-end workflows
  • Performing performance and scalability testing across VM-based deployments and Kubernetes environments
  • Validating enterprise-grade scenarios such as backup and restore, air-gapped installs, and software upgrades

The Automation Test Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain enterprise-grade standards and drive quality from design to release.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automation testing, preferably in infrastructure, database, or enterprise software
  • Strong programming skills in Python and Java
  • Experience testing distributed systems or microservices
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and hybrid environments (on-prem, air-gapped, VM-based)
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, PostgreSQL, cloud-native technologies, and tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Helm
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and excellent problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills
