Job Title: Senior Google Analytics Expert

At Orbit Interactive, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Google Analytics Expert to join our team. As a key member of our digital marketing team, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing digital data to derive valuable insights, enhance user experience, and optimize our online presence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Track and Analyze Website Performance: Utilize Google Analytics and other relevant tools to monitor website traffic, user behavior, and engagement metrics.
  • Implement and Manage Tracking Codes: Implement and manage Google Analytics tracking codes, events, and custom dimensions to capture accurate data.
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in user experience, conversion rates, and online campaigns.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with marketing, design, and development teams to ensure proper tracking of online initiatives and campaigns. Generate regular reports to showcase key performance indicators, conversion rates, and other relevant metrics on the dashboard.
  • Customer Journey Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of customer journeys to optimize user flows and identify drop-off points.
  • Recommendations and Optimization: Provide insights and recommendations to improve website performance, user experience, and conversion rates.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in web analytics, SEO, and digital marketing.
  • Goal and Funnels Setup: Assist in setting up goals, funnels, and e-commerce tracking to measure and report on ROI.
  • Troubleshooting and Training: Troubleshoot tracking issues, data discrepancies, and other technical challenges related to Google Analytics. Train and mentor junior team members on Google Analytics best practices and data analysis techniques.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience (3 to 5 years) as a Google Analytics Specialist or similar role.
  • Google Analytics Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics, including advanced features such as custom dimensions, segments, and event tracking.
  • Familiarity with Google Tag Manager: Familiarity with Google Tag Manager and its implementation.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Data Visualization: Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools such as Google Data Studio or Tableau.
  • Marketing and SEO Knowledge: Solid understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and online user behavior.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to convey data findings and insights effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Self-Motivation and Teamwork: Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting. Relevant Google Analytics certifications are a plus.
  • A/B Testing and Conversion Rate Optimization: Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization is advantageous.
