Senior Talent Acquisition Professional

We are seeking a seasoned HR expert to lead talent acquisition efforts for our foreign university's campuses in India.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about building a high-performing workforce that embodies our university's values and fuels its growth and success.

  • Talent Acquisition Strategy:
    • Partner with hiring managers, business leaders, and university leadership to understand workforce needs and design effective recruitment strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Sourcing & Talent Pipeline:
    • Leverage multiple sourcing channels (job portals, referrals, social media, academic networks, and talent pools) to identify and engage high-quality candidates.
  • Candidate Experience:
    • Drive an engaging and seamless recruitment journey from first interaction to onboarding, ensuring candidates experience professionalism and transparency at every stage.
  • Employer Branding & Job Design:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to craft compelling job descriptions and promote openings through relevant channels, strengthening the employer brand in the education and EdTech sectors.
  • Data-Driven Recruitment:
    • Track and analyse recruitment metrics to assess effectiveness, optimize processes, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Compliance & Governance:
    • Evaluate recruitment practices for compliance with employment laws, UGC guidelines, and organisational policies.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of recruitment experience, with a strong focus on managing talent acquisition portfolios.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, or related field.
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRMS, and other recruitment software/tools.
  • Proven track record of building high-performing teams from scratch and scaling recruitment processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
