Revenue Management Professional

The ideal candidate for this role will be a seasoned revenue management professional with a strong background in pricing strategy and data-driven decision making. You will lead the development and execution of pricing strategies across our expanding portfolio of boutique hotels, leveraging your expertise to drive revenue growth and maximize profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage data analytics and market research to inform pricing decisions and optimize revenue streams.
  • Analyze key performance indicators such as ADR, RevPAR, occupancy, booking pace, and lead times to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategic changes.
  • Develop and maintain forecasts and revenue dashboards to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics including ADR, RevPAR, occupancy, pacing, booking window, and segmentation trends to inform pricing and distribution strategies.
  • Utilize property management systems (PMS) such as Cloudbeds to adjust rates, manage restrictions, and optimize inventory levels.
  • Conduct competitive set analysis and track market demand drivers, local events, and seasonal trends to inform pricing and distribution decisions.
  • Develop and manage online travel agency (OTA) pricing, availability, and promotions to drive direct bookings and revenue.
  • Generate and present regular performance reports to leadership, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Evaluate pricing strategies and promotions for effectiveness and adjust as needed to maximize revenue growth.
  • Provide input on distribution strategy, including new channel opportunities or rate plan adjustments, to ensure optimal revenue performance.
  • Recommend process improvements and support training of junior staff or revenue support roles to enhance team productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in hotel revenue management or pricing strategy, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and maximizing profitability.
  • Strong knowledge of revenue metrics and forecasting techniques, with the ability to leverage data analytics to inform business decisions.
  • Hands-on experience with property management systems (PMS) such as Cloudbeds, with the ability to leverage system capabilities to optimize revenue streams.
  • Familiarity with online travel agencies (OTAs) and dynamic pricing tools, with the ability to develop and manage effective pricing and distribution strategies.
  • Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to leverage data modeling, pivot tables, and trend analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex revenue concepts and strategies to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, think critically, and make strategic decisions to drive revenue growth and maximize profitability.
  • Experience working remotely or with international teams is a strong plus.
