Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Strategist

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Infrastructure Strategist to oversee our infrastructure operations, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled professional to lead and implement infrastructure strategies that drive business growth and success.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive infrastructure plans, encompassing on-premise datacenter management and cloud deployments.
  • Conduct regular reviews and analyses of existing infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and leverage best practices.
  • Negotiate procurement of software, hardware, and IT supplies as approved by senior management.
  • Manage inventory of software licenses, hardware, and other IT assets.
  • Collaborate with senior management and peers on matters requiring strategic alignment.
  • Lead outsourced teams responsible for daily operations and activities.
  • Provide innovative solutions to complex business challenges, utilizing in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
  • Execute live DR activities and periodic drills to ensure business continuity.
  • Possess working knowledge of servers, storage, databases, operating systems (Windows and Linux), and networks.
  • Manage production incidents and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in infrastructure management, including on-premise datacenter and cloud infrastructure.
  • Program and project management expertise.
  • Strategic planning and execution of infra-related projects.
  • In-depth hands-on knowledge of infrastructure components, including servers, storage, databases, operating systems, and networks.
  • Excellent understanding of cloud computing principles and technologies.

  • Ambitious and results-driven professional with a passion for infrastructure management.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with private and public cloud architectures, migration considerations, and pros/cons analysis.
