
Luxury Retail Operations Manager

About the Role:
We seek a highly accomplished and polished Store Manager to spearhead overall boutique operations, upholding luxury standards at every client interaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales leadership, team management expertise, operational excellence, and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the boutique to achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets through strategic planning and effective execution.
- IDentify business opportunities and implement tailored strategies to grow revenue and expand market share.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including conversion rates, ticket size, client acquisition, and repeat clients, taking corrective action when necessary.
- Ensure that every client interaction embodies luxury brand values and ethos, providing a seamless and memorable experience.
- Foster a culture of personalized clienteling and post-sale follow-up, driving long-term loyalty and retention.
- Organize and host private client events, previews, and activations, showcasing the boutique's unique offerings and expertise.
- Act as a brand ambassador, maintaining impeccable grooming, etiquette, and storytelling standards, embodying the luxury brand's DNA.
- Recruit, train, and mentor client advisors, assistants, and support staff, developing a high-performing team.
- Provide ongoing feedback, conduct product knowledge and service training sessions, ensuring staff are equipped to deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Foster a motivated and luxury-driven team culture, promoting collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee inventory management, stock movement, and safe-room protocols, ensuring seamless logistics and efficient operations.
- Authorize stock in/out, sales invoices, and client documentation, maintaining accurate records and adhering to compliance guidelines.
- Coordinate audits and compliance with security and safe-room teams, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Ensure daily completion of bank deposits and card settlements, excluding bank holidays, maintaining a smooth financial workflow.
- Maintain boutique presentation, visual merchandising, and ambience to luxury standards, creating an inviting and upscale atmosphere.
- Enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to client service, security, and operational processes, ensuring consistency and quality across all interactions.
- Ensure compliance with HR, finance, and incentive policies, maintaining a fair and equitable work environment.
Requirements:
- 6–10 years of luxury retail experience (jewellery, watches, or fashion), with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven record of leading teams and achieving sales targets, demonstrating leadership skills and adaptability.
- Strong operational expertise in inventory, finance, and compliance, with a focus on efficiency and risk management.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with regional languages an advantage.
- Polished grooming, refined etiquette, and luxury presence in client interactions, embodying the luxury brand's image.
- Passion for jewellery, design, and creating memorable client experiences, driving creativity and innovation.
