The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Support Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for providing level 2 and level 3 support for our cloud-based software applications, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and proactive monitoring of system performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2 and L3 level support for production management services, including end-user support, system monitoring, incident and problem management.
  • Monitor system performance metrics and conduct performance tuning to optimize resource utilization and improve application performance.
  • Configure monitoring and alerting systems to track the health, performance, and availability of Azure services and applications.
  • Implement proactive monitoring solutions using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Grafana, or similar tools to detect and mitigate issues before they impact users.
  • Lead incident response efforts, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve critical incidents in a timely manner.
  • Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our suite of software solutions.
  • Provide primary operational support and engineering for multiple large-scale distributed software applications.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues in both the Linux environment, Windows servers, and SQL Server databases.
  • Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures.
  • Flexible to work in different shifts, including night shifts, based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Candidate must have 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong proficiency in ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript, and ReactJS for application development and maintenance.
  • Strong skills in T-SQL, SQL Server architecture, database monitoring. Good to have MongoDB exposure.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) and comfort with cloud technologies.
  • Proficiency in querying, analyzing, and visualizing time series data using Grafana.
  • Candidate should have working experience of Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
