Executive Leadership Opportunity
This is a senior leadership role with a specific mandate to drive business growth and revenue expansion in a strategically important market. The Business Head will take full ownership of the region's financial performance, lead ecosystem development, market penetration, and brand positioning strategies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth for the Kolkata region by developing and executing effective sales strategies.
- Lead generation and student acquisition through targeted marketing campaigns and partnerships.
- Identify local growth opportunities and build strategic relationships with colleges, coaching classes, and influencers.
- Lead and manage the business team, ensuring close collaboration with counselling, marketing, and academic teams.
Expected Outcomes:
- Meet or exceed revenue targets for the region across all test prep programs.
- Establish a consistent and predictable lead funnel through local outreach, partnerships, and ground-level activations.
- Enhance IMS's brand visibility and recall in key micro-markets within Kolkata.
- Identify and activate new growth channels (college tie-ups, coaching alliances, alumni referrals, etc.).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Postgraduate/MBA from a top-tier business school.
- 8-12 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Marketing (preferably in education, EdTech, or service sectors).
- Strong execution skills and on-ground presence.
- Deep understanding of Kolkata market dynamics.
