The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Growth Strategist to spearhead the expansion of our business in the Indian textile market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and implementing effective strategies to increase our market share.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell bluesign services to textile mills, brands, and chemical suppliers in India
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers
- Guide clients in implementing the bluesign system in their operations and supply chains
- Support event management for bluesign events in collaboration with industry partners
- Attend textile trade shows and industry events to generate new leads
- Lead the full acquisition process and manage CRM data and customer payments
- Delve presentations, represent the brand at fairs, and network with industry stakeholders
- Provide regular feedback on sales progress, competitor activity, and market trends
- Support technical services during system assessments and on-site implementations
- Assist with regional director travel planning and customer meeting coordination
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Indian textile manufacturing chain
- Strong background in sales or willingness to move into a sales role
- Familiar with textile sustainability systems like bluesign
- Excellent communication, client management, and presentation skills
- Experience with CRM tools and data management
