Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Lead employee recruitment and hiring processes.
  • Coordinate staffing activities, track applications, conduct interviews and select employees.
  • Conduct pre-screens, schedule interviews and administer reference checks.
  • Partner with external agencies to maintain adequate staffing levels.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment statistics.

Onboarding Process:

  • Support hiring managers throughout the onboarding process.
  • Collaborate with hiring manager to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Complete initial orientation with new employees.

Employee Engagement and Retention Strategies:

  • Provide guidance on employee benefit queries or concerns.
  • Partner with supervisors to implement performance management and recognition programs.

Employee Relations and Experience:

  • Listen, address and investigate employee issues, concerns and complaints.
  • Partner to conduct workplace investigations and make recommendations.
  • Act as an advisor and resource to managers and supervisors.
  • Ensure timely resolution of personnel matters.

Candidate Attraction and Employer Branding:

  • Identify key differentiators that attract candidates.
  • Highlight corporate culture aspects.
  • Utilize communications channels to convey company values.

Employee Rewards and Recognition Programs:

  • Develop programs recognizing performance achievements.
  • Ensure employees feel valued and invested in their work.

Special Initiatives and Support:

  • Assist department projects including compensation and benefits.
  • Support various business functions and initiatives.

Administrative Support:

  • Support event planning activities.
  • Maintain records and documents outside official systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

This role requires strong communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have 5-6 years of experience in human resources.

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing strategies to improve employee engagement, retention and overall work environment.

The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, be proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of human resources principles, employment laws and industry best practices is essential.
