Compensation Strategist Role

This position involves designing and implementing a comprehensive compensation strategy that attracts, retains, and motivates top talent in our operations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Developing competitive and compliant compensation policies and procedures for local markets.
  • Conducting thorough salary benchmarking to ensure accurate pay ranges.
  • Crafting job architecture and grading structures for new and existing roles.
  • Mentoring the compensation and benefits team to enhance performance.
  • Overseeing the annual performance management process.
  • Creating short-term and long-term incentive programs.
  • Designing a best-in-class benefits portfolio.
  • Collaborating closely with HR and Finance to ensure seamless administration of payroll, benefits, and equity programs.
  • Providing compensation training for managers and employees.
  • Developing effective employee communication strategies to promote understanding of total compensation packages.
  • Managing relationships with third-party vendors, including benefit providers and survey firms.
Necessary Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, HR, finance, or related field; MBA or master's degree preferred.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in compensation and benefits.
  • Background in developing and implementing compensation strategies in India and US.
  • Strong knowledge of local laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits in India.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and Legal.
  • Superb communication skills, including ability to convey complex information to various audiences.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and consultants.
  • Strong leadership skills, with ability to motivate and manage a team.
