Order Management Specialist

Job Overview
The Order Management Specialist will be part of the Centre of Excellence and support the end-to-end management of orders from the Market Order Management teams to the COE. The primary tasks for this role will include processing administrative tasks in the enquiry to cash process, working closely with the Global Sales and Order Management functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Process all types of sales orders, including eCommerce orders, in full cycle from quote to cash in accordance with Smiths guidelines and policies.
- Develop strong SAP background knowledge and utilize it to manage orders effectively.
- Liaise with internal and external parties to manage and resolve daily process issues.
- Attend weekly and monthly internal meetings to ensure smooth order management.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives as required and contribute to significant lasting change in the way orders are managed.
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements and maintain a clean backlog at all times.
- Set up folders in Share Point/MS Teams for each order and ensure timely updates of order information.
- Ensure system and operation transactions are in compliance with law, regulatory taxation, and corporate policies.
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum graduate degree required.
- At least 5-7 years of prior experience in sales & order administration, logistics, and customer service.
- Strong hands-on working experience of SAP.
- High level of attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally.
- Customer-focused and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.
