Capture Manager

As a key member of our organization, the Capture Manager plays a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new opportunities.

This critical position is responsible for developing strategies to capture new business, including teaming, pricing, and proposal development. The successful candidate will have a solid track record of winning proposals in the public sector and possess excellent writing and analytical skills.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Federal or State procurements, a strong understanding of cost and financials, and knowledge of GSA and other Federal Schedules. A Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field such as English, Journalism, Communications is required.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop teaming, pricing, and proposal strategies to capture new business opportunities.
  • Scan and evaluate markets to identify potential opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to prepare for upcoming procurements.
  • Review and qualify RFIs and RFPs and drive the proposal process.
  • Prepare written proposals by collaboratively developing concepts, gathering and formatting information through interview techniques, writing drafts, and final proposal submission.
  • Develop and maintain reference databases for technical, management, and past performance.
  • Develop compliant and compelling content leveraging industry knowledge.
  • Conduct after-action reviews for all contracts and document lessons learned.
Requirements:
  • Capture-related experience for Federal or State procurements.
  • Solid track record of winning staffing and SOW-based proposals in the Public Sector.
  • Demonstrated capability to write clear, logical, and persuasive documents.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills with an understanding of cost and financials.
  • Knowledge of GSA and other Federal Schedules.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field, such as English, Journalism, Communications.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to prioritize, lead, and manage multiple projects and tasks to successful completion.
