Supply Chain Finance Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Finance professional to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain network, you will play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategies and driving cost control across Africa.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Lead end-to-end supply chain financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting from inbound shipping to inland logistics, warehousing, and distribution across Africa.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control all supply chain costs; enhance processes for inventory, foreign exchange, freight, handling, and warehousing.
  • Partnerships and Collaboration: Partner with logistics, procurement, and operations leads to analyze costs, identify savings, and optimize working capital.
  • Working Capital and Trade Finance: Structure working capital and trade finance solutions, managing Letter of Credit facilities, FX exposures, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Logistics Due Diligence: Deliver financial due diligence for logistics partners; evaluate total landed costs and inform decision-making.
  • Performance Monitoring: Build dashboards and KPIs to track cost performance, supply chain metrics, and financial risks.
