Head of Supply Chain Finance Opportunity

This role presents an exciting challenge for a finance professional with a passion for supply chain management. As Head of Supply Chain Finance, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial strategies and driving cost control across international supply chains.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain finance, preferably within international logistics, and a demonstrated ability to manage complex global supply chains. They will also possess excellent analytical skills, advanced proficiency in Excel, ERP/BI tools, and strong stakeholder management capabilities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Financial Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting: Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans that drive cost savings and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Cost Control and Optimization: Monitor and control all supply chain costs, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to enhance processes for inventory, foreign exchange, freight, handling, and warehousing.
  • Working Capital and Trade Finance Solutions: Structure working capital and trade finance solutions that minimize risks and maximize returns.
  • Financial Due Diligence: Conduct thorough financial due diligence on logistics partners to ensure compliance with global tax regulations and transfer pricing rules.
  • Process Efficiency and Automation: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and automate workflows using ERP enhancements and best-practice financial controls.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8–12 years of experience in supply chain finance, preferably within international logistics.
  • Demonstrated experience managing finance for complex global supply chains—covering import operations, freight, warehousing, and last-mile distribution.
  • Strong cost-control mindset with expertise in working capital optimization, FX risk management, and trade finance mechanisms.
  • Excellent analytical skills, advanced proficiency in Excel, ERP/BI tools (SAP, Oracle, Power BI, etc.).
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities for working across geographies.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to streamline financial processes, automate workflows, and deliver insights.
