Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Accurate Sales Forecasts: Lead the end-to-end demand planning process to develop accurate sales forecasts across product lines and regions.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with cross-functional teams to gather and validate input for demand forecasts, including historical data, market trends, and promotional activity.
  • Analyze Forecast Accuracy: Analyze forecast accuracy and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities to improve forecast reliability.
  • Foster Alignment: Facilitate regular demand review meetings as part of the S&OP process to align supply and demand plans.
  • Apply Statistical Models: Use statistical models and forecasting tools to support short-term and long-term planning.
  • Optimize Inventory Levels: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply planning to optimize stock availability and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
  • Provide Insights: Provide insights to senior management on demand trends, changes, and performance metrics.
  • Implement Continuous Improvement: Develop KPIs to track forecast performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives within the demand planning function.
