Collaborative Data Governance Lead
About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Data Governance professional to spearhead our data intelligence initiatives and oversee the implementation of our Collibra platform.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in data governance, metadata management, and quality assurance. Strong technical skills, including experience with Collibra configuration, workflow design, and integrations, are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage expertise to implement end-to-end data governance solutions utilizing Collibra.
  • Develop and configure data models, workflows, and assets within Collibra.
  • Design and execute custom workflows using BPMN and Workflow Designer.
  • Integrate Collibra with cloud platforms such as Snowflake, Azure, and Informatica.
  • Foster collaboration with stakeholders to establish effective data stewardship practices.
  • Promote data quality and compliance by developing frameworks for data cataloging, lineage, and metadata management.
  • Provide training and support to business teams on best practices and data governance standards.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in data governance, metadata management, or data quality.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Collibra, including configuration, workflow design, and integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, stewardship, and lifecycle management.
  • Expertise in Collibra APIs, BPMN, and scripting languages (Groovy, JavaScript).
  • Experience with data catalog, business glossary, and lineage in Collibra.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms: Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Informatica.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Collibra Ranger or Solution Architect certification is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with large-scale Collibra deployments.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA).
  • Foundational understanding of data architecture or data engineering.
