IT Service Management Specialist

The primary objective of this role is to spearhead the design, development, and maintenance of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the ServiceNow platform.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements, implementing data standards, policies, and procedures, ensuring data integrity and accuracy, and providing technical leadership and mentorship to the CMDB development team.

Additionally, this individual will develop and maintain CMDB documentation, including data models, workflows, and processes. They will also conduct regular audits and data quality checks to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Furthermore, they will integrate the CMDB with other IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and tools, as well as stay up-to-date with ServiceNow CMDB best practices and industry trends.

A critical component of this role is training end-users and stakeholders on CMDB functionalities and best practices.
