Senior Site Engineer Position
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Site Engineer to oversee the execution of civil engineering projects, including drainage and retaining wall construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and execute drainage layout plans and specifications accurately.
- Supervise excavation, pipe laying, manhole construction, and backfilling activities effectively.
- Ensure that slope, alignment, and levels conform to design requirements.
- Coordinate with surveyors and quality control teams for regular inspections.
- Oversee shuttering, reinforcement, and concreting processes for retaining wall construction.
- Verify structural stability and adherence to design standards at all times.
- Maintain high safety and quality control standards on site.
- Manage labor resources efficiently, allocating tasks and monitoring productivity.
- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors for manpower supply as needed.
- Document attendance and work logs, resolving any labor-related issues promptly.
- Prepare daily progress reports and update project managers regularly.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Optimize the use of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Communicate with consultants, vendors, and local authorities as necessary.
